Work Package 2: Development of the new BSc program
Description: This work package will focus on the development of new bachelor’s program, curriculum and teaching materials in the field of Mechatronics. A new scheme of cooperation in the field of mechatronics between universities and training centres of manufacturing enterprises is developed and implemented in respective project regions. Regulations on continuous education, a new generation of textbooks and manuals for Bachelor’s degree in the field of Mechatronics are developed. These textbooks and manuals will be developed based on systematic teaching approach and methodology of International Labour Organization. Main outcomes of the project will be a full Bachelor of Science curriculum with 12 courses compatible with European standards.
Tasks:
2.1. Developing a new scheme of cooperation for university-industry links based on EU skills in Mechatronics sphere.

2.2. Development of new Bachelor's program (new standards, regulations, curriculum, textbooks, manuals, soft skills and new teaching methodology) in Mechatronics. In this activity, 12 courses will be developed.

2.3. Testing and adaptating of curriculum, materials and methods after developed the program, starting selected courses in HEIs in Uzbekistan.
Testing will be carried out by participants from all partners and realised two phases. First, courses will be tested by teachers, experts and public authorities. Second, courses will be tested by students in frame of regular teaching process. Feedback will be gained through evaluation questionnaires on results of which modifications within training curricula and courses will be done.
